It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Anita Fay Davis, of Lincoln Park, who left us peacefully on Wednesday, September 4, 2024 at the age of 86. Anita was born on April 12, 1938, in Ash Hill, Kentucky, to the late Elic and Vadie (Blaine) Dickerson.
Anita was the beloved wife of the late Clarence Davis, and together they built a life filled with love, warmth, and dedication to their family. She was the loving mother of Devida Bradley, Buck (Marilyn) Davis, and David (Lisa) Davis. Her heart also held cherished memories of her late daughter, Connie Davis.
Anita's legacy lives on through her grandchildren: Ryan (Mandy) Davis, Jennifer Shelton (Jeremy), Kimblrey Ketterman, and Brendan Davis. She was a proud great-grandmother to Nova Davis, Skylar Bowman, Mackenzie Davis, James Ketterman, Cameron Shelton, Avery Teehan, and Irelyn Teehan, and a great-great-grandmother to Faith Wright.
Her memory will be forever cherished by her family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 8, 2024 1:00 - 8:00 PM at Solosy Funeral Home.
A Funeral Service in memory of Anita will begin on Monday, September 9, 2024 10:00 AM at Solosy Funeral Home.
Interment will follow at Michigan Memorial Park Cemetery.
