Ann Margaret Reynolds

Ann Margaret Reynolds, age 87, passed away peacefully on January 20, 2026. She was born on September 29, 1938, in Detroit, Michigan, to the late Gus Zarves and the late Agnes (Studer) Zarves.

Ann was preceded in death by her beloved spouse, Audrey Reynolds; her children Marianne Morris, James Murphy, and Victoria Murphy; and her siblings Joe Zarves, Marilyn Cruz, and Rose Knott. She is survived by her loving children Anthony Murphy, Laura Scalfani, and Elizabeth Murphy, and by her dear sister Ruth Elliott.

Family was the heart of Ann’s life. She was a proud and devoted grandmother to 20 grandchildren, a cherished great-grandmother to 43 great-grandchildren, and was blessed to welcome one great-great-grandchild into her family. Her legacy lives on through the many generations who knew her love, strength, and unwavering presence.

Ann found joy in life’s simple pleasures. She enjoyed camping, trying her luck while gambling, and spending quiet, meaningful moments making rosaries—an expression of her faith and care for others. These activities reflected her appreciation for both adventure and reflection.

Ann Margaret Reynolds will be remembered for her devotion to her family, her steady spirit, and the many lives she touched with love and kindness.

Visitation will take place on Thursday, January 29, 2026, from 10:00 AM until 1:00 PM at Solosy Funeral Home. A service will follow at 1:00 PM at the funeral home. Interment will take place at Woodmere Cemetery in Detroit.
