April Renee Davis

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of April Renee Davis, who left us on July 20, 2024, at the age of 48. Born on March 28, 1976, April was a beloved daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend.

April is survived by her loving parents, Deborah (Pokie) and Randy Bowers, her devoted brother Matthew Bowers and his wife Melissa, and her cherished children Felicia Bowers, Madison Davis, and Chase Mullinax. She was also the proud grandmother of Julian and Jaxon, who brought immense joy to her life. April's nieces Bailie and Brooke, and many cousins and extended family members will also deeply miss her.

Despite not always being the biggest fan of dogs, Honeybun and Bruno loved her dearly. They always wanted to cuddle up with her and she was one of the few they didn't hassle. Her creativity shone through her love for crafting, especially using her Cricut. She could make almost anything with that machine and it would turn out amazing. April, who was also a nurse, would make everything from cups to pins for Felicia's coworkers, who were also nurses.

April relished a good movie and would stay up all night binge-watch new series, often racing her mom to see who could finish the seasons faster. Known for her determination, once April set her mind to a project, she would not stop until it was completed. Her willingness to help others knew no bounds, and she was always ready to lend a hand to anyone in need.

She found joy in the thrill of stopping at casinos for a bit of fun and was always up for a new adventure. April's tenacity and spirit were unmatched, and she lived her life with a sense of purpose and determination.

April Renee Davis will be remembered for her generous heart, creative spirit, and unwavering determination. Her memory will forever be cherished by her family and all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Visitation will be held on Friday, July 26, 2024 at Solosy Funeral Home from 1:00 PM until 7:00 PM when the funeral service begins.
