Beatris Castano Wells also known as Bea passed away on December 7, 2023 at the age of 91. She was born on November 29, 1932 in San Antonio, Texas, Bexar County. Bea was a beloved mother, grandmother, Great grandmother, Great great grandmother and sister.

Bea is survived by her loving daughters, Rosalinda Godina Chakur, Gloria Godina Flores, Elva Godina Cavazos, Carmen Godina Nelsen, Diana Godina Schmidt, Venetia Godina Varney, Barbara Godina, Sylvia Godina Barski. Her brother Victor Castano and her many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, cousins, nephews, nieces and son in laws.

She was preceded in death by her son Roman Carlos Godina, her brothers Alfred Jr. Castano, Ricardo Castano and parents Alfred Castano and Ruby Flores Castano.

Bea had a passion for bowling, softball, dancing, music and gardening. She enjoyed spending her free time engaging in these hobbies. Her dedication and skill in these areas (especially gardening at Trenton Towers, Trenton, Michigan) were admired by those who knew her.

Bea will be deeply missed by her family and friends, her memory will be cherished, and her legacy will live on through her beautiful family and through the love and joy she brought to those around her. She is now with angels and always in our hearts.

Funeral Service Thursday, December 14, 2023, 11:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment Woodmere Cemetery.
