Benjamin Olan Griffith

Age 86. Beloved husband of Phyllis Griffith. Dearest father of Jeffrey (Kathy) Griffith, Randy (Joy) Griffith, Paula (Edward) Kish, Donald Griffith, Susan (Buddy) Holland. Loving grandfather of Sonya Webb, Jeffrey Griffith, Johnny Griffith, Kristin Justice, April Wiebe, Joshua Griffith, Eddie Kish, Danny Kish, Kevin Griffith, Christian Griffith, Adam Griffith, Jasmine Griffith, the late Gabriella Griffith, Donald Griffith Jr., Luke Holland, Alyssa Holland, and Buddy Holland II. Dear great grandfather to fifteen with one on the way. Benjamin is preceded in death by his parents Benjamin Franklin and Ina Pearl Griffith. He is also preceded by his siblings Orin, Maci, Lester, Arbutus, Lovell, Donnie, Drema Lee, Vernon, and Luverna.

Benjamin loved his country and when duty called he faithfully and honorably served in the US Army. His time in service was supporting the US mission in Korea. Benjamin had a lifelong passion for building. Upon leaving the Army, he worked in the automotive industry building cars for many decades. Benjamin always had to be working on a project. In fact, Phyllis requested a tree-house be built in the yard for the children. Without hesitation, he went to work on the tree-house and it was completed shortly thereafter. More than any other project, Benjamin built a legacy that now resides in his family and he will be deeply missed by all who loved him.

Visitation Thursday January 6, 2022, 2:00 p.m. - 7:00p.m. Funeral Friday January 7, 2022 11:00 a.m. at the John K. Solosy Funeral Home. Interment Our Lady of Hope Cemetery.
