Bobbie M Griffin

Bobbie M Griffin (nee Tyrie), 90, born in Princeton, KY, passed away peacefully March 26, 2018 with her children at her side. She was 27 years predeceased by her beloved husband, "Dubby," whom she missed every day. Also preceding her in death were her parents, Ruth Brockway, William Tyrie, and step father RB Bozarth; her sister, Betty Alexander, and brothers, Ronald, Thomas, and Joseph Bozarth. Bobbie leaves behind her children, Linda (Sandberg), Janeen (Remington), and Wayne and Diane Griffin.

Bobbie enjoyed 11 grandchildren; Scott, Christopher, and Brian Sandberg; Dana and Matthew Remington; Vanessa Stevens, Warren Griffin, Jakelyn Stevens, Victoria (Eric) McEwen, Brandon (Amanda) and Corbin Griffin.

Her family increased with the addition of 8 great grandchildren; Chance Sandberg, Scott Adamson, Schaefer and Ariel Remington, Ava Sandberg, Joey Remington, Collin Redigan, and Payton Gurger with two more coming later this year.

Bobbie loved her work at Dix United Methodist Church, took pride in her family, and loved a good mystery story. She will be sorely missed by family and friends.

Interment will be at White Chapel Cemetery in Troy, Michigan where a small family graveside service is planned.

In lieu of flowers, Bobbie's family suggests, due to her love of animals and birds, donations to Michigan Humane Society, Audubon Society, or a charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated.
