Brandy Nicole Gresko, age 43, passed away on April 30, 2026. Born on January 10, 1983, in Detroit, Michigan, Brandy lived a life defined by resilience, love, and an unwavering spirit in the face of lifelong health challenges.

Born Brandy Nicole Weedman, she was the daughter of the late Ernie Weedman; Shelby Lynn (Westfall) Graddey; and dear daughter of Howard Graddey, who was her dad in every form. From an early age, Brandy proved herself to be a true fighter—a childhood cancer survivor who went on to face a lifetime of illness with remarkable courage.

Her life was not an easy one, but she met every obstacle head-on with strength that never seemed to run out. Through countless setbacks, hospital visits, and daily challenges, she continued to push forward, refusing to let her circumstances define her. She faced pain and uncertainty with a quiet bravery, often putting others before herself even when she was struggling. Despite everything, she carried herself with a positive attitude and a determination that inspired everyone around her. When life became difficult, she would often say, “I got this!”—a simple phrase that perfectly captured her strength, resilience, and refusal to give up.

Brandy took pride in being a mother. She loved her children and carried them in her heart always. Brandy is survived by her children, Mackenzie Gresko, Emily Gresko, and Zoey Gresko, and was preceded in death by her son, Dylan Weedman.

She is lovingly remembered by her siblings Ashley Westfall-Moore (Daniel Moore), Chelsea Kehr (Jason Kehr), and Austin Graddey. Brandy also held close Jessica Graddey, James Graddey, the late Robin Graddy, the late Howard “Doug” Graddy, and the late John Graddey, whom she always considered her siblings in every sense of the word.

Brandy’s family circle extended far beyond immediate relatives. She leaves behind many cherished nieces and nephews, including Dominic Westfall, Dayton Westfall, and Christian Jolly, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her grandmothers, Jacqueline Hazelip and Virginia Wagner.

Known for her warm and open heart, Brandy believed that everybody was family. She loved people unconditionally, never held grudges, and forgave easily. Her kindness left a lasting impression on everyone she met. She also had a playful, slightly silly side, often bringing smiles and laughter with the things she would say, no matter her mood.

Brandy found joy in life’s simple and creative moments. She loved baking, arts and crafts, and decorating for parties, events, and celebrations. Brandy was creative and gave attention to the details that made every occasion feel special. Above all, she treasured time spent with those she loved.

Brandy Nicole Gresko will be remembered as a warrior—a woman who faced a lifetime of battles with courage and determination. She was a devoted mother, a creative spirit, and a kind soul who brought light into the lives of others. Her strength, love, and enduring positivity will never be forgotten.
