Charisse Eletta Gregory

It is with profound sadness that the family of Charisse Eletta Gregory announces her passing on Saturday, August 19, 2023 at the age of 58 years.

Beloved wife of 25 years of Frank Gregory. Loving mother of Francesca and Christopher. Dearest niece of Uncle Joe, Aunt Chari, Aunt Barbara, Aunt Valerie, Uncle Greg, Uncle Don, and Aunt Ivy. Dear cousin to many including Paula, Reggie, Bruce, Monique, and Batrice. Best friend of Andrea, Brenda, and Sonya. Godmother to Samiiya.

Charisse lived life to the fullest and enjoyed many things. Music was a regular part of her life. It seemed like she knew the words to every song. She especially loved to listen to Jazz music. Charisse loved to have fun. Some of her favorite things to do were antique shopping, wine tasting and shopping for flowers. Every year her garden and green house bursts with life and color. There was not a day that went by that she was not tending to her precious, beautiful plants and flowers. She was also an amazing cook, especially at the barbeque. Everyone knew that if Charisse started the barbeque grill that something delicious was going to be served. Charisse liked to travel too. Sinking her toes into the warm sand at a beach was by far her favorite.

Charisse will be sincerely missed by her family and everyone who knew her.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, August 22, 2023 1:00 - 8:00 PM at Solosy Funeral Home.

Visitation will continue the following day on Wednesday, August 23, 2023 10:00 AM until time of Funeral Service at 11:00 AM at Solosy Funeral Home.  There will be a time to share memories of Charisse during the Funeral Service.

Interment will follow at Woodmere Cemetery.
