Charles D. Hudson

It is with deep sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Charles D. Hudson, of Allen Park, MI, on November 4, 2024, at the age of 63. Born on May 15, 1961, Chuck was a loving partner, brother, uncle, cousin and friend who touched the lives of everyone who knew him.

Chuck is survived by his beloved partner, Brittany McWhorter; his siblings, Mary Previti and Dave Pagac (Andrea); nieces and nephews; aunts; uncles; cousins; and a wide circle of friends who will remember him fondly. He was preceded in death by his parents, Sharen and George Pagac, and his father, Charles G. Hudson.

A proud veteran of the United States Army, Chuck brought the same dedication and discipline to every part of his life. He had a deep love for the outdoors, especially fishing and hunting up north, where he felt most at peace. Chuck was known for his remarkable skill as a carpenter—able to build or repair just about anything—and his appreciation for well-crafted cars. His expertise, combined with a quick wit and generous heart, made him a friend to many and a beloved member of his community.

Chuck had a deep, unwavering love for animals, especially his beloved dogs, who were more than just pets—they were his family. Throughout his life, he shared a special bond with every dog that came into his care, offering them loyalty, companionship, and endless affection. His compassion and devotion to animals reflected the gentleness and warmth of his own spirit.

Whether spending time with family and friends, fixing things around the house, or just enjoying a day in nature, Chuck lived life to the fullest. His loss leaves a void that will never be filled, but his memory will live on in the stories and moments shared with those who loved him.

Chuck's life ended far too soon, but he will forever be missed and never forgotten.

A private cremation has taken place in the care of Solosy Funeral Home.
