Cordero Anthony Guerra, Age 36, of Westland, passed away on Sunday, January 29th, 2023.

Beloved son of Gina Mandujano and Mario Mandujano. Loving fiancé and best friend of Stephanie Rogiero. Caring father of Mataeya Guerra, the late Oliva Guerra, Jenna Rogiero, and Anthony Rogiero. Dearest brother of Esther Mandujano, Jessica Mandujano, Gina Mandujano, Theresa Mandujano, Mario Mandujano, Stephanie, and Durance. Fondly missed by his grandparents Tacho Guerra, the late Theresa Morse, the late Judy Guerra, and Grandma Lila. Forever remembered by his godparents Anthony Guerra and Tammy Portell. Cordero will also be dearly missed by many uncles, aunts, cousins, nephews, nieces, and friends.

Cordero, or "Cord" as the people who knew him best called him, loved spending his time with his family and friends. He met the love of his life, Stephanie, 4 years ago and they were engaged to be married later this year. He was a loving father not only to his own beautiful children, but Stephanie's children as well. His presence will be forever missed by his entire family and even his fur babies, Luna and Bane.

Cord was a big, but muscular, kid at heart. This was demonstrated through the way he lived life to the fullest. He loved to travel and always try new things. He was never afraid of an adventure, whether it be going to a new place, trying a new experience, or even eating a new food. It was said, that he loved all kinds of food, but he especially loved to eat steak and lobster with his daughter Mataeya. Everyone around Cordero agreed, he was fun! As a child, he had a Power Ranger party for his 5th birthday and instantly was enamored with the Green Ranger. His 36th birthday was no different. It was celebrated with a Power Ranger cake and he even went as the Green Ranger for Halloween.

His vibrant personality could be seen by the many things he enjoyed doing. He enjoyed taking pictures, going to the gym, gardening, and shopping. He always wanted the best of the best, which he got from his dad, Mario. He also loved all genres of music, Cord would listen to Rock, as well as Classical.

Cordero was an intellectual. He was described by his family as being more of a scientist and a thinker. Some joked that he liked to watch sports, but playing them, well that was another story. There was never a problem he couldn't figure out. His ambitiousness drove him to accomplish whatever he set his mind to. This also helped him to be successful in his career. Cordero earned his Bachelor Degree and worked at K2 Industrial Services as a Safety Manager. He worked hard and took his job of making sure the people around him had proper safety equipment seriously.

As a child, he was baptized at Holy Redeemer in Detroit. As an adult, he loved the Lord and always had a positive outlook on life that he shared with his family and friends.
