Craig Martin Smith

Craig Martin Smith, born on October 14, 1962, passed from this world on March 21, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of cherished memories and enduring love. Craig was the beloved son of the late Arnold and Mary Smith and a devoted brother to Karen Smith and Kimberly (Joseph) Quinn. He was a cherished uncle to Erica Lettes, Chelsea Parks, Brandon Smith, Leesa Smith, Hanna Schleicher and the late Christopher Smith. He is the dear nephew of Gerald (Katie) Smith and Bill (Mary) Smith.

Craig found joy in the simplicity of life's pleasures. He had a profound love for the great outdoors, particularly camping, which he inherited from his parents. Fond childhood memories were made during summers spent camping at Portage Lake in Jackson, Michigan, where Craig and his family forged lifelong bonds amid nature's embrace.

Kentucky held a special place in Craig's heart, as it was his family's ancestral home. He treasured the moments spent there, connecting with his roots and creating lasting memories with loved ones.

A man of easygoing charm, Craig found solace in the company of his neighbor, Sue, with whom he shared many heartfelt conversations while sitting on the porch, enjoying the simple pleasures of life.

Craig's love knew no bounds, extending warmly to his nieces, nephews, and entire family. He found immense joy in their company and took pride in being a part of their lives.

In addition to his love for the outdoors, Craig enjoyed the leisurely pursuit of golfing, finding tranquility in the rhythm of the game.

Though Craig may have departed from this world, his spirit lives on in the memories he created and the love he shared. He will forever be remembered for his loving heart, infectious laughter, and unwavering devotion to those he held dear.
