Dani John Tubbs

Age 74. Beloved father of Ronald Tubbs, Dani Tubbs, Stacy Tubbs, and Matthew Tubbs. Dearest grandfather of Cole Tubbs and Lily Tubbs. Loving brother of Darryl Tubbs, Bryan Tubbs, and Rita McGrath. Dani is survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Dani is also survived by his faithful companions, Minnie a German Shepherd and Bree, his Maltese service dog.

Dani served honorably in the United States Army. He received multiple commendations including the National Defense Service Medal, the Vietnam Service Medal, and the Vietnam Campaign Medal. He also served in the Cold War. Upon returning from active duty service he continued his commitment to his country through his work with Downriver VFW Post 1136 . Through the work of Downriver For Veterans he finally found his brothers and sisters of the military and appreciated all they had done for him.

Visitation Wednesday November 3, 2021 2:00 p.m. until time of Service at 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Following the funeral, Dani will be interred with honors at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, MI.
