Darlene C. Bozymowski, age 74, passed away peacefully on April 7, 2026. Born on January 21, 1952, to Zoltan Papp and Irene Godo, Darlene was raised in Delray, where she was surrounded by close family and cherished the strong bonds formed during her childhood.

Darlene devoted her life to caring for others, both personally and professionally. She earned her Bachelor’s degree and went on to build a meaningful career as a Registered Nurse. She specialized in intensive care and home healthcare—roles she found especially fulfilling, as they allowed her to combine her skill, compassion, and dedication to helping those in need. Her patients and colleagues alike respected her strength, knowledge, and unwavering commitment.

For 47 years, Darlene shared a loving marriage with her husband, Edward Bozymowski. Together, they built a life centered on family, faith, and enduring partnership. She was a devoted mother to her daughters, Desiree (Bryon) Keilman, Nichole (Jacob) Dimick, and Juliann (Tim) Pejza, and took immense pride in their lives and accomplishments.

Darlene’s greatest joy came from her role as a grandmother. She adored her grandchildren—Samula, Dria, Aiden, Mason, and Millie—and treasured every moment spent with them. Her family was the center of her world, and she created countless memories filled with warmth, laughter, and love, including cherished family vacations—especially trips to Disney World, where her love for Mickey Mouse brought out her playful spirit.

She is also survived by her sisters, Cindy (Barry) Donnells and Becky (John) Callery, as well as her beloved nieces and nephews: Christopher (Ann) Donnells, Ryan (Lisa) Callery, Molly (Brandon) Goudey, and Gabe Callery. Darlene held her extended family close to her heart and maintained deep and meaningful connections with each of them.

Darlene had a passion for the simple joys of life. She was an avid reader who could often be found with a book in hand. She loved to cook and bake, sharing her creations with family and friends, and she enjoyed shopping and finding special treasures. She found happiness in the little moments—feeding the squirrels, decorating for the holidays, and bringing joy to those around her. She especially loved Halloween, a holiday she embraced with enthusiasm and creativity, earning her the affectionate title of the “Queen of Halloween.”

Above all, she cherished time spent with her loved ones. She also held a special place in her heart for her grand-dogs, Cooper and the late Charlie.

Known for her strong will and determined spirit, Darlene was someone who always knew her mind. She was deeply devoted to her faith and her family, living her life with purpose, resilience, and love. Her presence was a guiding force, and her legacy will live on through the many lives she touched.

Darlene will be remembered as a loving wife, devoted mother and grandmother, caring sister, and compassionate nurse. She leaves behind a legacy of strength, kindness, and unwavering devotion that will never be forgotten.

She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
