Dawn Rene Yount

The family of Dawn Rene Yount (nee. Rideout), of Lincoln Park, is saddened to announce her passing on Friday, February 2, 2024 at the age of 63 years. She was a cherished mother, grandmother, and friend, leaving behind a legacy of joy and warmth.

Beloved wife of the late Ernest Yount. Loving mother of Jason (Judy) Rideout, Geri Rideout, Ernest Rideout, Holly Rideout, and Timothy (Megan) Rideout. Caring grandmother of Landon Rideout, Donna Rideout, and Dante Rideout.

Dawn was born on February 11, 1960 to the late Gerald and Donna Rideout. She is the beloved sister of the late John Rideout and the dear niece of Nancy Yuchuck.

Dawn was a woman who found happiness in the simple pleasures of life, cherishing the little things that often go unnoticed. She had an infectious enthusiasm for shopping, turning mundane outings into delightful adventures. Dawn's keen eye for finding joy in the ordinary was a testament to her vibrant spirit.

One of Dawn's greatest joys in life was being a devoted grandmother. Her adoration for her grandchildren knew no bounds, and she took immense pleasure in creating lasting memories with them. During the warm summer months, she could be found poolside, basking in the sunshine with her grandkids. The laughter and splashes echoed the love that filled those moments, creating cherished memories that will endure for generations.

Dawn had a special affinity for the summer sun, and her radiant tan was the envy of many. Despite living hundreds of miles away from the sandy beaches of Florida, Dawn's sun-kissed glow could rival even the most dedicated beachgoers. Her love for the sun and the water mirrored her zest for life, reminding everyone around her to appreciate the beauty in every moment.

In the hearts of those who knew her, Dawn will be remembered as a woman who found joy in the simple, a grandmother who showered love on her grandchildren, and a friend whose laughter could light up the darkest days. As we say our goodbyes, let us celebrate Dawn's life and the enduring love and happiness she brought into the lives of those who were fortunate enough to know her.

Visitation will be held at Solosy Funeral Home on Tuesday, February 6, 2024 from 1:00 PM until 7:00 PM.

Visitation will also be held at Solosy Funeral Home on Wednesday, February 7, 2024 at 10:00 AM until the Funeral Service begins at 11:00 AM.

Interment to follow at Michigan Memorial Park in Flat Rock, Michigan.
