Debra Paula Garcia, age 65, passed away on February 4, 2026. She was born on March 7, 1960, to George Rogers and Dorothy Turner. Debra will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered for her strength, independence, and the quiet but meaningful way she cared for those around her.
Debra was a very hard worker throughout her life and took pride in standing on her own two feet. Strong-willed and resilient, she faced life’s challenges with determination—nothing could keep her down. Though naturally introverted and not one to ask for help, Debra had a direct spirit and was known for telling it like it is. With a touch of humor and unmistakable confidence, she would often joke that if someone got out of line, she would “kick their ass,” a phrase that perfectly captured her fearless personality.
She found joy in life’s simple pleasures. Debra loved going on walks, especially with her beloved dog, Lady, and treasured time spent outdoors—whether relaxing on the porch in warm weather or enjoying the fresh air. She also liked playing Candy Crush and took comfort in the quiet moments that allowed her to recharge. Her pets, Duke, Lady, and Milo the cat, were cherished companions who brought her happiness and comfort.
Debra’s greatest legacy is the family she loved so deeply. She is survived by her children, Dorien Rogers, Kathy De La Rosa, Jacqueline Harbin, Crystal Ramirez, Billie Wilkerson, and Jason Harbin. She was preceded in death by her son, Joseph Harbin. Debra was also the proud grandmother and great-grandmother of many, each of whom brought her immense pride and joy.
Family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance on Sunday, February 8, 2026, from 1:00 PM until 8:00 PM, with a service to be held at 7:00 PM. Cremation will take place following the service.
As we honor Debra’s life, the family welcomes you to share your memories and messages of comfort in the guestbook. Your stories and reflections will help create a lasting tribute to a woman whose strength and spirit will never be forgotten.
