"Death leaves a heartache nothing can heal, love leaves a memory no one can steal." It is with broken hearts that we share the loss of our Beloved Mother, Dolores Marcella (Layman) Walker. She left this life behind on March 7, 2026. She leaves a legacy of love that will live on forever in her family and everyone’s life she touched. Left to cherish her memory are her Children: Yvonne Manick (husband Tracy), Elaine Daniels, (husband Glenn) and Mark Walker and (wife, Christa). She had (10) Grandchildren, (12) Great-Grandchildren (1 more on the way) and (3) Great-Great Grandchildren with one more on the way. She was preceded in death by her husband, George E. Walker, her sons, Dennis Wade and Randy Lee and a daughter, Lila Jean.

Friends and Family may pay their respects on Wednesday, March 11th from 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Solosy Funeral Home located at 3206 Fort St, Lincoln Park, MI 48146. She will then be taken to her home state of Pennsylvania. Respects there can be paid at Brooks Funeral Home located at 111 E Green St, Connellsville, PA 15425 on Friday, March 13th. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 14th at Brooks Funeral Home and she will be laid to rest at Normalville Cemetery following.

In lieu of flowers, please consider donating in her name to Henry Ford Hospice, Alzheimer’s Association or Lincoln Park Historical Society.
