Demetria Ann Harrison

With much love and heartache the family of Demetria Ann Harrison announces her passing on May 19, 2026, at the age of 60. Born on June 29, 1965, in Humboldt, Tennessee, she was the daughter of Gary Hall and Betty Miller. Demetria made her home in Lincoln Park, Michigan, where she built a life centered around family, kindness, and caring for others.

Demetria was a homemaker whose greatest joy came from taking care of the people she loved. She had a generous heart and was always willing to lend a helping hand whenever family or friends were in need. Whether it was offering support, sharing advice, or simply being there when someone needed comfort, Demetria gave of herself freely and wholeheartedly. She took great pride in her family and in the lives they were building together.

She found happiness in life’s simple pleasures. Demetria loved shopping, keeping her home warm and welcoming, and spending treasured time with her grandchildren and loved ones. She especially enjoyed creating diamond art with gemstones, a hobby that reflected both her patience and creativity. More than anything, she loved caring for others and making sure those around her felt loved and supported.

Demetria is survived by her loving companion, Dennis Olson; her children, Jessica (Jesse Goforth) Harrison, Sarah Olson, Dennis Olson Jr., Anthony Olson, Keith Olson, Jason (Evelyn) Olson, and Joshua Ortiz; as well as many beloved grandchildren, extended family members, and friends who will miss her dearly.

Cremation has taken place in the care of Solosy Funeral Home. Her family will forever cherish the memories of a life well lived and a woman deeply loved.
