Denise Lynne Ogger

Denise Lynne Ogger, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away on September 5, 2025, at the age of 66. She was born on February 15, 1959, to Frank Arthur Haskins and Elaine Ruth (Nelson) Haskins, who nurtured the values of family and strength that Denise carried throughout her life.

She was preceded in death by her devoted husband, the late Michael Edward Ogger, with whom she shared love, family, and cherished memories. Together, they built a life centered around their children, grandchildren, and a home filled with warmth.

Denise was the proud and loving mother of Sarah Stajda, Chad Farris, Craig Stajda, Candice Stajda, Sean Ogger, Charles Ogger, Matthew Ogger, and Elaine and Matthew Moore. Her heart was even fuller as grandma to her treasured grandchildren: Maddy, Maverick, Mackenzie, Emilia, Sean Jr., Nathaniel, Mia, Olivia, Analicia, Ethan, and Kinsley.

She is also survived by her siblings, Douglas Haskins, Deborah Garcia, Karen Haskins, Diane Haskins, and Gregory Haskins.

Denise lived her life with grit and devotion. A strong mother, she raised her children with fierce love and often extended that love to other children who needed care, becoming a second mom to many. She believed in standing on her own two feet, and through her honesty—sometimes blunt, but always rooted in love—she guided those around her toward what was best for them.

She had a special love for collecting blankets, shopping, and savoring time with her family. Holidays were especially meaningful to Denise; she poured her heart into spoiling her grandchildren with unforgettable Easter baskets and epic Christmas celebrations. She also found joy in the simple pleasures of life—watching TV, being surrounded by family, and creating moments her loved ones will forever remember.

Her family will remember her as a woman of strength, humor, and honesty, who left a lasting imprint on all who knew her. Denise's memory will live on in the hearts of her children, grandchildren, siblings, and the many lives she touched. She will be deeply missed and forever loved.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, from 1:00–8:00 PM at Solosy Funeral Home in Lincoln Park, with a time of sharing beginning at 5:00 PM. Cremation will take place in the care of Solosy Funeral Home following the visitation.
