Donald Arthur Wenzel

Donald Arthur Wenzel, born August 23, 1942, in Detroit, Michigan, passed away peacefully on August 24, 2026, at the age of 84.

Donald was the beloved son of the late Raymond Wenzel and Irene (Previch) Wenzel. He was the devoted husband of the late Jean Marie Wenzel. Donald and Jean were married on July 23, 1966, and shared a loving life together until her passing in 2013. Their years together were filled with family, love, and many treasured memories.

Donald was the loving father of Linda (James Martin) Wenzel, Kimberly Wenzel, Michele (Todd) Pappas, Keith (Melanie) Wenzel, and Michael (Susan) Wenzel. He was a proud grandfather to Gage (Kirsten) Pappas, Brittany (Alexander Montry) Wenzel-Montry, and Mickele (Ryan Smith) Pappas.

He was preceded in death by his brothers, Ronald Wenzel and David Wenzel.

Donald will be remembered as a devoted husband, father, and grandfather whose greatest legacy lives on through the family he loved.

Cremation has taken place in the care of Solosy Funeral Home after a private family visitation. Donald will be laid to rest alongside his beloved Jean, together once again in their final resting place.
