Dorothy May Hoover

Age 87. Beloved mother of Thomas (Gina) Hoover, the late Nancy Wright, and Amy Horvath. Dearest grandmother of Meghan Hoover, Josh Wright, Christy Wright, Calvin Wright, Julie (Matt) Lamarand, Kyle Wyzorowski, Kurt Wyzorowski, and Mackenzie Horvath. Loving great-grandmother of Madison Lamarand, Kylee Lamarand, Emersyn Lamarand, and Pheabeigh Wyzorowski. Dear sister of Jean Schiros. Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband Calvin Hoover.

Dorothy loved and cared for her family. She spent many years as a sales associate for Montgomery Ward. Dorothy was an avid reader. She enjoyed many different genres of literature but had a deep and abiding passion for poetry. She memorized poetry throughout the decades. Her favorite poet was Edgar A. Guest whose poems were known for taking an hopeful view of daily life.

Per her wishes, cremation will take place and a celebration of life gathering will be held in the near future.
