Elizabeth Rosemary Schafer

Elizabeth R.Schafer, age 78, passed away peacefully on May 30, 2021.  She leaves behind her loving husband Richard, daughter Margaret Schafer, son in law Michael Barragan, grandchildren: Michael (Leslie), Stephanie (Luis), Matt (Rebekah) and Aren (Lisa) and great grandchildren: Ryan, Abigail, Grayce, Christopher, Nathan and Emily.  She joined her son Christopher Schafer and her daughter Elizabeth Barragan in heaven.

Elizabeth thoroughly enjoyed watching Harry Potter and shared that with some of her grandchildren.  She also liked baking and cooking.  More than anything, she loved to be with her husband Richard and their family.

A memorial service will take place a First Baptist Church, 1925 Ford Ave. Wyandotte, MI 48192 at a time to be determined.

The final resting place for her urn will be in Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, MI on June 29, 2021 at 1:30 p.m.
