Age 78 of Melvindale. Beloved wife of John Pitts. Loving mother of John (Pam) Syer, Candise Syer, Bridgette Franklin, Timothy (Linda) Syer, Penelope Berry, Robin (Terry) Betke, and Jason Trudeau. Dear sister of Algie Rushing, Teddy, Dreden, and Colleen Berry. Also survived by 14 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Pitts was preceded in death by her sisters JoAnn Weaver and Sue Diber. Visitation Sunday January 22, 2012 from 1:00 to 8:00 p.m. Funeral Services Monday 11:00 a.m. at the Solosy Funeral Home.
