Frances L. Fletcher

On Saturday, August 12, 2023, Frances Fletcher, of Gibraltar, passed away at the age of 82 years.

Beloved wife of Donald Fletcher for over 50 years. Loving mother of Deanne Rabedeau and the late Donald Dale Fletcher.

Frances was born on December 7, 1940 to the late Theodore and Sarah Hall in Detroit, MI.  Frances was the youngest child. She is survived by her dear sister Bernadine Muraski and preceded in death by her other siblings Grace (1997), Margaret (2008), Theodore (2009), and Patricia (2004). Frances will be fondly remembered by her nieces and nephews. Dearest aunt of Margaret Ann, Brenda, Sarah P., William, Sarah J., Terry, Bryan, Larry, Sharon, Jackie, Leonard and Anne.

Frances enjoyed many things in life. Most of all she loved to garden. A bright, vibrant array of flowers would adorn her yard every year. She would refer to the flowers in her care as "her girls".  Along with her beautiful flowers, garden decorations were never lacking for enjoyment. The birds enjoyed Frances' yard as much as she did. Frances would feed them and provide comfortable birdhouses to shelter them from the weather. Once she was no longer able to get out into the yard, Frances found pleasure in viewing her feathered creatures from an invisible birdhouse that attached to her window. When younger, Frances and Donald could be found gathering for a randevous in the boat in the many lakes around Michigan. When not outdoors, Frances regularly enjoyed bowling. She bowled in many women's leagues, as well as co-ed leagues with Donald.

Frances will be missed by her family.

At Frances' request, no service will be held.

Internment will take place at a later date at Roseland Park Cemetery in Berkely, MI.
