Frank Richard Zeld

On Sunday, April 9, 2023, Frank Richard Zeld passed away at the age of 82. Loving father of Tracy Zeld and Keley Swan. Proud grandfather of Brooke Swan and Olivia Swan. Dear brother of Marty (Dawn) Zeld and Steve (Debbie) Zeld. He is preceded in death by his wife Eva Lynn (Lainey) Zeld and his sister Rosemarie Shingleton.

Frank was an ardent lover of Bluegrass music. Not only did he love listening to Bluegrass, but he was also an accomplished banjo picker. You could regularly find Frank at Bluegrass festivals listening to the great music and participating as an artist with his banjo. Over the years, Frank even had the opportunity to pass on his love of the instrument through teaching banjo to up and coming pickers. Frank will be missed by all who knew and loved him and his life will serve as a sweet melody to those he leaves behind.

A time of visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 12, 2023, from 1:00PM to 8:00PM at Solosy Funeral Home. A visitation will be held on Thursday, April 13, 2023, at 10:00AM followed by a funeral service at 11:00AM at Solosy Funeral Home with Mrs. Dawn Zeld officiating. Military honors and interment will follow the service at Our Lady of Hope Cemetery in Brownstown.
