George W. Plant

Age 88. Born in Indianapolis, Indiana, George attended Wentworth Military Academy then Kansas University where he received his degree in Geology. Commissioned as 2/Lt in the US Air Force in 1952 obtaining the rank of 1/Lt before his honorable discharge in 1954. He had a career spanning 50 years as a Chemical Engineer.
Survived by 5 children, Mike (Taryn) Plant, Patricia Risk, Robert (Jemmis) Plant, Susan (Larry) Chlebek, and Lynda (Randy) Van Dierendonck, 7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. There will be a private family graveside service with full military honors at the Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly, Michigan.
