George B. Yenkel

Age 86. Beloved husband of Shirley. Loving father of Linda (Barney) Trupino, Terri Raimer, Jackie G. (Wanda) Yenkel, George E. (Ckris-tina) Yenkel, Steven J. (Suzanne) Yenkel, and Robert P. (Paula) Yenkel. Dear brother of Virginia Anderson, John E. Yenkel, Henry Yenkel, and the late Joyce Vermillion. Dearest grandfather of 13 and great grandfather of 11.  George served his country proudly during the Korean War.  He was stationed in Korea for about a year.  While in the Army he received a Korean Service Medal with 2 camp stars, a UN Service Medal, a National Defense Medal, and a Good Conduct Medal.  He received an Honorable Discharge in November, 1954.

Visitation Monday November 19, 2018 1:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.  Instate Tuesday November 20, 2018 10:00 a.m. until time of Service at 11:00 a.m. at the Riverview United Methodist Church (13199 Colvin St., Riverview). Interment Michigan Memorial Park Cemetery.
