Age 88 of Lincoln Park. Beloved husband of the late Linda Rates. Loving father of Kim Martin, Kenneth (Lorraine) Rates and the late Roberta Lin Gonzales. Dear brother of Sandra (Don) Love. Dearest grandfather of Anthony Fasano, Catie Fasano, Vincenzo Fasano, Dallas (Jamie) Rates, Valerie (Chris) Korycinski, Tim Rates, and Veronica Rates. Dear great grandfather of Austin. Also survived by his special caregiver Alina "Angie" Bajjey and his cat Cindy Lee. A Memorial Visitation will take place on Saturday, September 22, 2012 from 1:00 - 9:00 p.m. with the Memorial Service to be held at 6:00 p.m. at the Solosy Funeral Home.
