Helen Louise Drouillard

Helen Louise Drouillard, a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on November 18, 2024, at the age of 80. Born on March 3, 1944, in Detroit, Michigan, to the late Thomas and Edna Bradley, Helen lived a life filled with love, care, and dedication to her family and friends.

In 1961, Helen married the love of her life, Robert C. Drouillard. Their union was a beautiful testament to devotion, spanning 57 years until Robert's passing. Helen never stopped loving her "Bob," cherishing the memories they made together.

Helen was the proud and loving mother of John (Veronica Meyer) Drouillard, Ronald (Leslie) Drouillard, Todd (Kimberly) Drouillard, and the late Robert Drouillard Jr. and Keith Drouillard. She was the cherished grandmother of Brittney (Ray) Rifenberg, Joshua, and Hanna. She was the doting great-grandmother to Baby Ray. Her siblings Patty and Hope survive her, while many brothers and sisters preceded her in death.

Helen had a special way with children, always willing to nurture and care for them, whether they were her own or not. Born to be a mother, she made countless sacrifices for her boys, always putting them first and striving to give them a better life.

Helen had a love for the simple joys of life, including tending to her yard with her green thumb, frequenting yard sales with Bob, and collecting treasures, especially her beloved dolls, which her family will always remember. A woman of determination, Helen could accomplish anything she set her mind to.

Her selflessness, love, and unwavering devotion to her family will be deeply missed by her extended family, many good friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Visitation will take place on Thursday, November 21, 2024, from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Solosy Funeral Home.

Visitation will take place on Friday, November 22, 2024, from 10:00 AM until the funeral service begins at 11:00 AM at the Funeral Home.

Entombment will immediately follow the funeral service at Michigan Memorial Park cemetery in Flat Rock.
