Age 89 of Lincoln Park. Beloved husband of the late Joyce Z. Bitner. Loving father of Patsy (Jim) Rickabaugh, Mike (Beth) Bitner, and Nick (Karen) Bitner. Dear grandfather of 6 and dearest great grandfather of 9. Dear brother of Beverly DeLaRosa. He was preceded in death by his siblings Jake Bitner, Pat Bitner, Robert Bitner, and Loretta Zvoch. Mike was a proud U.S. Navy Veteran of WWII and served in the South Pacific.
Visitation Thursday 12:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. with a 6:00 p.m. Service at the funeral home. Private Burial Friday at Our Lady of Hope Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project (www.woundedwarriorproject.org) or the Disabled American Veterans (www.dav.org).
