Age 75. Beloved wife of Richard Dennis. Dearest mother of Tina (Mikey) Dennis, Marlene (Scott) Kerr, Cathy (John) Boone. Loving grandmother of Richie, Nick, Dylan James, Scottie, Tyler, and Abbie. Dear great-grandmother of Braxton, Bentlee, and Lola. Imogene is also survived by her siblings Stephen Buhovecky and Bonnie Jackson.
Imogene was born in Bentleyville, Pennsylvania. Her family moved to Detroit, Michigan where she grew up and graduated from Southwestern High School. She never missed a day of school and was quite the athlete in her high school years. She was on the field hockey team and swimming and dive teams. She earned her varsity letter for swimming.
Imogene loved Richard with all her heart. They were together for over 60 years and married for 57 of those years. She spent those years caring for people. In fact, she might be best known for her unending care for the people around her. Imogene's first priority was taking care of her husband and raising her girls. She was always there for them. Her care and compassion; however, extended to other family members as well. Those who knew Imogene described her as a mother to all and said that she was the most caring, loving, and giving person. Her daughters described her as an angel on earth. Imogene had a great sense of humor and was loved by everyone.
