Jacob "Jake" Edward Blaszczyk

Age 32. Beloved son of Kathy and the late Danny Blaszczyk. Dear brother of Deanna (Justin) Allossery. Loving uncle of Christina Blaszczyk. Dearest brother-in-law of Denise (Joe) Zanke. Dear uncle of Sadie Blaszczyk. Loving cousin of Nicholas (Jody) Blaszczyk. Dearest godson of Kevin (Arline) Clausen. Dear friend of Basil (Shy) Toye.

Jake was diverse in his interests. He was a lover of shopping and gentlemen's fashion and was always sure to be dressed to impress. He also enjoyed movies, music, and sports. He relished the game of baseball but hockey was his true passion. He was an avid skater and played for many teams over the years. He was even able to compete in a tournament overseas in Moscow. Jake loved spending time with friends and playing pool. One of Jake's closest friends was Basil and they would spend long hours discussing the issues of the day. Jake thought it was important to be informed of the day's news and current affairs. Jake was a humorous, fun-loving, and caring soul who will be deeply missed.

Visitation Monday January 31, 2022 9:30 a.m. at St. Andre Bessette Parish in Ecorse. Funeral Mass Monday January 31, 2022 11:00 a.m. at St. Andre Bessette Parish in Ecorse. Luncheon to follow the funeral at Hungarian Rhapsody Restaurant at 14315 Northline Rd, Southgate, MI 48195.
