Jeremy Joseph Wilson, a cherished father, beloved son, devoted brother, loved grandfather, and dear friend, passed away on Friday, April 5, 2024, at the age of 47. Born on May 6, 1976, Jeremy was the fourth of five boys born to Gilbert and Diane Wilson.

Growing up in the close-knit community of Newport, Jeremy attended Jefferson High School in Frenchtown Township. He was a hardworking and caring individual who always prioritized his family and loved ones. Jeremy was the loving father of Madison (Dennis) Whisman, Paige Wilson, Brooke Johnson, and Caden Wilson. He was immensely proud of his role as a father and grandfather, loving on his grandson, Dennis Whisman III, whom he affectionately referred to as "Rufus".

Jeremy was a devoted brother to Patrick Wilson, Andrew (Mary) Wilson, Matthew Wilson, and Justin Wilson. He held a special place in the hearts of his nieces and nephews. Additionally, Jeremy will be sincerely missed by April Wadsworth and her daughters Ava, Leah, and Gracie, whom he considered family.

Throughout his life, Jeremy had a deep love for animals, especially his faithful dogs. He was survived by his loyal companion Ruger and was preceded in death by his beloved Kyah.

Jeremy dedicated himself to his work as a car hauler, taking pride in providing for his family. He found joy in the great outdoors, indulging in activities such as hunting, fishing, boating, and riding 4-wheelers and snowmobiles. His passion for nature was epitomized by his love for the family property in northern Michigan, particularly Lake's n Green.

Known for his vibrant personality, Jeremy was the life of the party wherever he went. He had a knack for storytelling and could always bring laughter to any gathering. He cherished moments spent with family during holidays, reunions, and special occasions. Jeremy loved to host family gatherings, where he would show off his grilling talents. Everyone always looked forward to eating his delicious grilled chicken.

Jeremy's love for music was evident in his diverse taste, though he had a particular fondness for the country genre and Kid Rock. He attended numerous Kid Rock concerts over the years, finding immense joy in the music and camaraderie of fellow fans.

Above all else, Jeremy valued his family. His love and laughter will forever be remembered and deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. In honoring Jeremy's memory, let us cherish the moments shared with him and strive to keep his spirit alive in our hearts.

A private cremation will be held in the care of Solosy Funeral Home.
