Judy Ann Hassler

Judy Ann Hassler, age 82, passed away peacefully on July 30, 2026.

Born on October 27, 1943, in Asheville, North Carolina, Judy was the daughter of John Newton Yarber and Evelyn Nanney (Kent) Yarber. After high school, she built a career in administrative work within the automotive industry, where she was known for her dependability and strong work ethic.

Judy was a woman who appreciated life's simple blessings. She did not seek attention or recognition, but instead found contentment in the quiet moments, the love of her family, and a life lived with grace and humility. Those who knew her will remember her gentle spirit, practical nature, and the kindness she extended to those around her.

She is lovingly remembered by her son, John Jonson; her siblings, Brenda Fedowitz and Jan Urioste; her grandchildren, Andy Hassler and Amanda Hassler; and her great-grandchildren, Aiden Hassler and Addison Hassler. She was preceded in death by her son, Rick Johnson.

Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Solosy Funeral Home.

Though she preferred a quiet life, Judy's legacy lives on in the family she loved and the countless small ways she made the lives of others better simply by being herself. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered.
