Judy Ann Swihart

The family of Judy Ann Swihart, of Lincoln Park, is saddened to announce her passing on Sunday, May 28, 2023 at the age of 67 years.

Beloved wife of the late Leon Swihart. Loving mother of Mariann (Rob) Brusman, Rob Swihart, the late Brad (Linda) Swihart, Tammy Marks, and Jennifer Marks. Proud grandmother of Greg (Desiree) Brusman, Chris Brusman, Michael Brusman, Josh Black, Melissa Black, Randall Black, Samantha (Megan) Marks, Destinee (Matthew) Horvath, Billy (Kenzie) Herborn, Jett Swihart, and Myklin Scroggins. Caring great-grandmother of Heidi-Lynn, Miyah, Juna, Sophia, Elaina, Elijah, Aubrey, Ila, Enzo, and one on the way.

Judy was born on May 7, 1956 to the late Edgar and Eileen Sherman in Wyandotte, Michigan.  She was one of six children. She will be forever missed by siblings Bob (Joann) Sherman, Ron (Ava) Sherman, Al Sherman, Ed (Lee Ann) Sherman, and Mark Sherman.

More than anything, Judy loved spending time with her family. One of her favorite places to spend time was in West Branch, Michigan. She had a camper up there and enjoyed spending the seasons with her family at the camper. Judy liked nature and especially relished watching the wildlife. She could spend countless hours watching the birds and deer. She affectionately called them "Deer-iers" and was always interested in seeing what they were up to. She could regularly be found tooling around on her golf cart and she savored evenings around the campfire.

Judy will be forever missed by all her family and friends.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 1, 2023  1:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Solosy Funeral Home.

The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, June 2, 2023 at 11:00 AM at the funeral home.

Interment will follow the funeral service at Our Lady Of Hope Cemetery in Brownstown, Michigan.
