Kevin Ray Marcum

On Wednesday, August 16, 2023, Kevin Ray Marcum, of Detroit, passed away at the age of 55 years.

Kevin was born on November 4, 1967 to Hazel Marcum and the late Arlie Marcum. He will be missed by his large extended family.

Kevin deeply loved and cared for his mother. He was always good to her and always made certain she was safe. When she would leave the house, he'd regularly call his other family members to check in on her whereabouts.

Kevin enjoyed life. He liked to have fun and regularly joke with those closest to him. Eating out was something Kevin could never turn down. Tacos, Wendy's and Mexican food from Mexican Village in Detroit were some of his favorites. Kevin could also never turn down a big, juicy steak. When he was relaxing at home, Kevin found pleasure in watching movies.

Visitation for Kevin will be on Monday, August 21, 2023  4:30 - 8:00 PM.

Visitation and Funeral Service will also be held at Morris Funeral Home in Wayne, West Virginia.  Visitation will be 12:00 until time of Funeral Service at 2:00 PM.

Interment will follow at Pres Friley Cemetery in Kiahsville, West Virginia.
