Lawrence G. Correy

Age 79, passed away August 7, 2015, in his Lincoln Park home.
The Detroit News and Detroit Free Press enjoyed Larry as a pressman for over 25 years. He also served his country as a chaplain's assistant in the US Army and worked as well for the Army Corps of Engineers. Lawrence is survived by Rosemary, his wife of 62 years, and their beloved dog, "the Babe." They have four children: Lawrence Jr., Candace Johnston, Kelly and Timothy, along with two grandsons, Nicholas Horton and Michael Correy. Larry is brother to Patrick, Michael, Daniel, Denise and Ginger. Larry is predecerased by parents, Floyd Correy and Lorraine (Platz) Correy, his daughter-in-law, Debra Correy and son-in-law, Don Johnston. Larry was a life- long Detroit Tiger fan and race horse enthusiast.

Funeral services are private.
