Leo A. Doute Jr.

Age 48.  Beloved fiancé of Kim Akkanen. Loving father of Ethan Doute, Samantha Doute (Aaron) and grandfather of Willow and Ivy. Stepfather of Alyssa Akkanen and grandfather of Arlo Akkanen. Dearest son of Patsy (Nick) Tassoni and the late Leo A. Doute Sr., Loving brother of Nick (Jessica) Doute and half-brother of Lisa (Brent) Brewer and Amelia (Lee) Debruhl. Dear nephew, cousin, and friend of many including his lifelong friend Jerry Radke. Loving uncle to many nieces and nephews. Leo was preceded in death by his grandparents Leo and Marjorie Doute and William and Kathleen Warren.

Leo lost his 18 yr. battle with Polycystic Kidney Disease on August 1, 2022. He was born in Wyandotte, MI and graduated from Thurston High School in Redford, MI in 1992. Leo was active in the Boy Scouts and made Eagle Scout. After high School he started his 30 yr. career in heating and cooling. Leo was devoted to his family and had a special bond with his first granddaughter, Willow. Leo enjoyed going to concerts, fishing, playing his guitar, working on cars, gardening (especially roses), and his Jack Russell dogs.
