Linda Lee Adkins

With heavy hearts, the family of Linda Lee Adkins announces her passing on Saturday, January 13, 2024 at the age of 74 years.

Linda was born on September 17, 1949 to the late Leroy Yeazel and Helen LaPete in Detroit, Michigan. Beloved mother of Barbara & Lalo Montemayor, Tracy Adkins, and Tiffany Ibarra. Loving grandmother of David Lee Brown Jr., Cecilia Brown, Audrey Pigula, Alejandro Ibrarra II, Donald Timothy Bullman, Alexis Ibarra, and Jacob Anthony Bullman. Proud great-grandmother of Jackson Greener, Quinton Brown, and Elijah Villalpando. Best friend of Paulette Townsend.

Linda lived life to the fullest and enjoyed many things. One of her favorite things to do was watch football. When the air turns crisp and leaves begin to turn, she looked forward to the competitive sport. The Chicago Bears were by far her favorite team. Another sport she enjoyed was tennis. Linda even took pleasure in swinging a racket occasionally. When she wasn't enjoying sports, you could catch her curled up in a cozy spot reading an interesting book. And Gracie, her dearly loved cat companion, was never far away. Occasionally to unwind, Linda liked to sip on a Jack Daniels drink. Another activity Linda enjoyed was going to the casino. The thrill of winning big was something she looked forward to regularly. Above all, Linda loved her family and spending as much time as she could with them.

Linda was someone everyone loved to be around. She was exceedingly loyal and honest. Linda will be sincerely missed by her family and friends.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 20, 2024  1:00 PM until time of service at Solosy Funeral Home.

Funeral Service will begin at 7:00 PM.
