Linda Louise Caulford

February 17, 1944 — April 26, 2026

Allen Park

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved Linda Louise Caulford, who peacefully departed this life on April 26, 2026, at the age of 82, surrounded by the love of her family. Linda returned to her eternal home, leaving behind a legacy of faith, devotion, and unconditional love.

Linda Louise Caulford was born on February 17, 1944, in Detroit, Michigan, to the late Carmack and Iona (Fagan) Carmack. As their only child, she was deeply cherished and raised in a home filled with love and strong values. At an early age, Linda accepted Christ and became a lifelong, devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Her faith remained the foundation of her life, guiding her actions, her compassion, and her unwavering kindness toward others. During her time in the church, she learned to play the piano, a gift she enjoyed sharing and one that brought joy to those around her.

Linda attended Cooley High School, where she began shaping the life that would become centered on family and hard work. It was during this time that she met, Lewis Caulford. The two were united in marriage and built a life together, raising three children: Lawrence, Lisa, and Laura. Later in life, her final child, Ladon, was welcomed into her arms. Linda was a devoted and nurturing mother who took great pride in raising her children with care, strength, and deep love.

While dedicating many years as a homemaker, Linda later chose to further her education by attending Macomb Community College, where she earned her Associate’s degree. She went on to serve her community through her work in Social Services, dedicating 26 years of compassionate service before her retirement. Her work reflected her heart—always caring, always giving, and always willing to help those in need.

Linda was truly a shining light in the lives of all who knew her. Her warm spirit, gentle heart, and joyful laughter left a lasting impression on everyone she met. She found her greatest happiness in the presence of her family, cherishing time spent together—whether sharing meals, enjoying surprise visits, or watching her favorite sports teams play hockey, basketball, and football. She also delighted in her favorite television programs, especially General Hospital and Family Feud, which brought her enjoyment.

Above all, Linda’s greatest joy was her family. She loved deeply and was deeply loved in return. Her legacy lives on through the generations she nurtured and the countless lives she touched with her kindness.

Linda was the loving mother to her children: Lawrence Caulford Sr., Lisa Medina, Laura Caulford, and Ladon Rogers.

She was a proud and devoted grandmother to Mario Mahdi, LaToya Caulford, Allessandra Jacobsen, Lawrence Caulford Jr., Samantha Monroy, Steven Caulford, Candi Taylor, LaTesha Sanders, and Donnie Rogers.

She was also blessed with great-grandchildren: Keyone, Cason, Mason, Mareno, Tucker, Jaxon, Gabriel, Adrianna, Beckham, Robbie, and Londyn.

Linda’s life was one of love, faith, and quiet strength. Though she will be deeply missed, her spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. Her memory will forever be a guiding light to her family and friends.
