Luz Victoria Aguilar Astudillo

It is with profound sadness that the family of Luz Victoria Aguilar Astudillo announces her passing on Friday, February 9, 2024, at the age of 87.

Luz Victoria, born to Laomidas Aguilar and Luzmila Astudillo, was a woman of extraordinary character and unwavering strength. Her life was a testament to resilience, love, and a tireless work ethic. She was the beloved wife of the late Gualberto Tello, and together, they shared a journey marked by love, partnership, and commitment.

As a devoted mother, Luz Victoria's love knew no bounds. She leaves behind a legacy of love and guidance to her children, Hugo Alfredo Lasso, Jose Tello, and Pilar Tello. Her warmth extended further as she took great pride in her role as a grandmother to Hugo Alfredo Lasso, Luis Alfredo Lasso of Ecuador, Luis Alfredo Lasso of Detroit, Hugo Daniel Lasso, Victoria Lasso Lewis, Natalia Tello, Kelly Tello, Gabreila Tello, Karla Michelle Tello. Luz Victoria was not only a source of love and support but a shining example of strength and compassion to her 18 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.

Luz Victoria was a woman of many talents and passions. A dedicated and hard worker throughout her life, she approached every task with determination and a commitment to excellence. Her vibrant spirit found expression in the joy she found in singing and dancing, bringing happiness to those around her. Her good sense of humor endeared her to all who had the pleasure of sharing in her laughter.

In addition to her industrious spirit and zest for life, Luz Victoria was known for her immense capacity for love and care. Her kindness touched the lives of many, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of those who were fortunate to know her.

Visitation will be held on Friday, February 16, 2024  4:00 PM until time of service at Solosy Funeral Home.

Funeral Service will begin at 7:00 PM.
