Age 73. Beloved Wife, Mother, and Mimi. Survived by her husband of 50 years, David Baber, son Ryan Baber, and grand-daughter Samantha. Sister to surviving siblings, Kathleen Goossens-Jacobs, Marjorie (John) Wood, Ed Goossens, Marion (John) Ray, Jeannine (Steve) Penney, and Justine Goossens-Vraniak. Preceded in death by her parents Louis and Margaret Goossens.

Presently residing in the City of North Branch, Michigan and previous resident of Lapeer, Michigan and Clinton Township. Madelyn was a long-time member of Christ Gospel Tabernacle in St. Clair Shores, Michigan. Graduated Clintondale High School and Macomb Community College-RN. Madelyn was a retired Registered Nurse. She had a big heart and cared for so many. She always loved to socialize over a good cup of coffee. She loved playing baseball, golfing, riding and training horses, spending time with her family and grand-daughter and also loved watching Detroit sports, especially Tiger's baseball and motorcycle rides with her husband. Madelyn adored her dogs, she and her family rescued over the years (recently passing, Harley). Everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her loved her and will miss her dearly.

A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date.
