Maria Magdelina Csoka

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Maria Magdelina Csoka, who left us on July 5, 2024, at the age of 69. Maria was born on September 7, 1954, to the late Imre Csoka and Hedwig (Feiner) Csoka. She was also the dear sister of the late Les Csoka.

Maria was the beloved mother of two wonderful children: Maria Csoka and Katalina Golden; as well as Doug Golden who was like a son to her as he helped care for Maria for several years. Her legacy of love continues through her cherished granddaughter, Chelsea Vasquez, who brought immense joy to her life.

Maria had a vivacious spirit and an unyielding love for people. She found immense pleasure in visiting and connecting with others, always eager to share stories, laughter, and kindness. Her dedication to serving others was evident in her time spent with the Salvation Army, where she invested herself fully in those around her.

Shopping was one of Maria's favorite pastimes, as it allowed her to be out and about, meeting new people and exploring new things. She had an adventurous soul that never wanted to be confined to the indoors. Maria loved going on walks, finding peace and joy in the simple act of being outside, surrounded by nature.

Maria's passion for life, her commitment to service, and her love for her family and friends will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her memory will live on in the hearts of her children, granddaughter, and the many lives she touched throughout her life.

A private cremation was held in the care of Solosy Funeral Home.

In honor of Maria's memory, donations can be made to the Salvation Army, continuing her legacy of service and compassion for others.
