Martha Sue Boismier

Martha Sue Boismier, affectionately known as Sue, passed away peacefully on December 4, 2024, at the age of 67. She was born on February 13, 1957, in Wyandotte, Michigan, to the late Thomas Jr. and Betty Brown.

Sue was the beloved wife of the late Wayne Boismier Sr. Together, they built a family full of love and cherished traditions. She is survived by her children, Susan, Cindy (Rob), and Wayne Jr. (Megan); her siblings, David, Bill, Tommy (Janice), Linda, Alice, and sister-in-law Tammy; and many nieces and nephews, including Gary, Scotty, Jamie, Steven, Brian, Joshua, Kristen, Jessica, Jacob, Megan, and Elizabeth. Sue was preceded in death by her brother, Larry.

Her family was the light of her life, and she took immense pride in her grandchildren—Noah, Zac, Race, Shelby, Colby, and Chelsea—and her precious great-grandchild, Gianna.

Sue's love for Christmas was legendary; calling her the "Queen of Christmas" would be an understatement. Her home was a year-round winter wonderland, with decorations permanently on display, but the magic truly came alive in October when she began her meticulous holiday decorating. Family Christmas dinners, gatherings, and bonfires were her favorite moments, bringing everyone together with warmth and laughter.

A true coffee enthusiast, Sue was never without a cup of hot black coffee in her hand—no matter the season even on the hottest summer days. Whether crafting or playing bingo in her earlier years, she embraced life passion and joy. Recently, she was delighted when Santa himself paid her a visit in her hospital room, a fitting tribute to her Christmas spirit.

Sue's life was filled with love, laughter, and the joy of close friendships. She cherished her dear friends Gordy (Dar) and Connie, who were like family to her. Sue will be deeply missed but fondly remembered for her boundless love, unshakable spirit, and the unforgettable joy she brought to everyone who knew her.

Visitation will take place on December 10, 2024 from 10:00 AM until the Funeral Service which begins at 2:00 PM at Solosy Funeral Home.

Interment will take place immediately following the service at Michigan Memorial Park.
