IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Pierre
Williams
April 10, 1969 – December 5, 2025
The family of Pierre Williams is saddened to announce his passing on Friday, December 5, 2025, at the age of 56. Born on April 10, 1969, to Willie and Jodia Williams, Pierre will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. His warm spirit, generous heart, and unwavering love for his family leave behind a legacy that will be cherished forever.
Pierre shared many meaningful years of his life with Geneva Williams his wife, with whom he built a family filled with love, laughter, and lasting memories. In later years, he shared companionship and happiness with Ebony, who held an important place in his life and cared deeply for him.
He was a devoted father to his children: Melba, Dejahnara, Rufus, Kewon, Joshua, Pierre, Jamar, and Tiara. His pride and joy grew with his grandchildren—Christopher, Tiara, Raquel, Rufus Jr., Rodrick Jr., and Nailani—each of whom he adored. Pierre was known for making sure his grandkids were always taken care of, often sending a quick CashApp whenever they needed something. To them, he was not just a grandfather but a steady hand and a loving presence.
He is also survived by his siblings—Shantelle, Kim, Kenneth, Sandra, Curtis, Maryann, and Katemia—as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family members, including Antwon, Pervis, Madison, Jaelyn, and his son-in-law Jesus.
Pierre grew up a happy, smiling young boy who loved playing outside with his neighborhood friends, especially Gary from next door. Full of life and energy, he carried that bright spirit with him throughout adulthood. Many of his childhood friends—Albert, Gary, Cory, and Mike—remained close to him throughout his life, with Gary being his lifelong best friend.
Pierre worked for Ford Motor Company, proudly dedicating 14 years before retiring. Known for his strong work ethic, he was always willing to take overtime and lend a hand. Providing for his family was a source of pride, and he embraced every opportunity to support those he loved.
A man of many passions, Pierre enjoyed bowling, BBQing, cooking for anyone who walked through the door, and simply spending time laughing and relaxing with friends. He loved helping people—often giving the shirt off his back—and lived a life marked by kindness and generosity. One of his greatest joys was fishing, a pastime that brought him peace and contentment.
Pierre will be remembered as a loving father, grandfather, and great-grandfather; a hardworking provider; a loyal friend; and a man whose heart was as big as his smile. His life was filled with love, laughter, and selflessness, and his memory will forever brighten the hearts of those who knew him.
The family invites all who knew Pierre to attend his service and share memories as they honor a beautiful life lived with joy, generosity, and deep devotion to family and friends. A funeral service honoring Pierre’s life will be held on Friday, December 12, 2025, at Solosy Funeral Home in Lincoln Park, Michigan, with visitation beginning at 10:00 AM and the service at 11:30 AM.
