Richard "Ricky" Garton

Age 66. Beloved son of the late Lemuel and Mary Garton. Loving brother of Mary (Tom) Bates, Gloria (Tim) Scott, Joyce (Tom) Medved, and Pearl (David) Medved. Dearest uncle of many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. Richard was preceded in death by his siblings Billy Garton, Jacky Garton, Carolyn Dixon, Nancy Bates, and Teeny Gehrt.

Ricky was a former participant in the Cerebral Palsy Olympic Games in Michigan and Texas. He loved to play bingo and baseball and was an avid Tiger's fan and was always the designated pitcher for family games.

Visitation Tuesday April 20, 2021 2:00 p.m - 8:00 p.m. Private Family Services on Wednesday. Interment Michigan Memorial Park Cemetery. Please keep in mind prior to visiting the funeral home, due to the Michigan Department of Health Guidelines, we are only permitted to allow 25 people inside the funeral home at any given time and face masks/face coverings are mandatory.
