Richard J. Schafer

Age 81. Beloved husband of the late Elizabeth. Loving father of Margaret Schafer and son in law Michael Barragan. Dearest brother of Dawn Windsor, Adele Dickleman, and Earl Schafer. Dear grandfather of Michael (Leslie) Barragan, Stephanie (Luis) Jaime, Matt (Rebekah) Barragan, and Aren (Lisa) Paczesny and great grandfather of Ryan, Abigail, Grayce, Christopher, Nathan, and Emily. Richard was preceded in death by his son Christopher Schafer and his daughter Elizabeth Barragan, his siblings Robert Schafer, Jean Eberhart, and Kenneth Schafer.

Richard proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.
