Richard Lee Shaull

On Tuesday, July 25, 2023, Richard Lee Shaull, of Lincoln Park, passed away at the age of 96 years.

Beloved husband of Berniece Shaull. Richard and Berniece shared 72 wonderful years together as husband and wife.

Loving father of the late Sandra Shaull, the late Gary Shaull, and Kathy (Bryan) Shaull-Ledin. Proud grandfather of Paige Shaull and Brayden Ledin.

Richard was born on December 15, 1926 to the late Hal and Elva Shaull in Northstar, Michigan. He was preceded in death by his eight sibilings.

Service and hard work were bedrocks of Richard's life. When his country needed him, he faithfully served in the United States Military during the Korean War. He joined the Army in support of that conflict and received the Korean Service Ribbon, United Nations Service Medal, and the National Defense Service Medal. Richard's family remembers him as a hard-working man. He was always ready to do his part and ensure the job was completed correctly. He worked diligently for many decades to provide a living for his family.

Richard will be sincerely missed by everyone who knew him.

There will be a time of Visitation on Tuesday, August 1, 2023 at 11:00 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at 12:00 PM. The Visitation and Funeral Mass will be at Christ the Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Lincoln Park.

Richard will be laid to rest near his infant daughter, Sandra, at Ithaca Cemetery in Ithaca, Michigan.
