Ronald J. Griffin

Long time Ecorse resident, Ronald J. Griffin, passed away on November 14, 2018 at 67 years of age.  He was known as a kind and gentle soul.  He attended St. Francis Xavier through grade school and most of high school and graduated from Our Lady of Mt. Carmel High School.  Ron went on to graduate from Henry Ford Community College and attended Eastern Michigan University, focusing on fine arts.  He worked at Radio Shack and Sears until retirement.  He loved drawing portraits, photography, playing guitar, electronics tinkering, and nature.  He was a member of a Star Trek fan group and a fan of science fiction in general.  Ron married Ann in October of 2005.  They made Ecorse their home.  He was active in the St. Andre Bessette and St. Vincent Pallotti parishes.  He will be greatly missed by friends and family.

Ron is preceded in death by spouse Ann (Palumbo), father David, and mother Theresa.  He is survived by three brothers, three nieces and a nephew.
