Rose Marie Dyer, a devout and loving matriarch, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 26, 2025, at the age of 91. Born on September 14, 1933, she was the cherished daughter of the late Joseph A. Bollo and Helen T. (Levoy) Bollo. Rose Marie is survived by her dear brother Joseph Bollo and sister-in-law Donna Bollo, who will forever cherish her memory.
Rose Marie's most treasured roles in life were those of wife and mother. Rose Marie was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Raymond C. Dyer, with whom she shared 60 years of marriage. Through the ups and downs of life, Raymond and Rose Marie remained steadfast, leaning on each other for strength, protecting one another with unwavering devotion, and growing together with love and resilience. Together with Raymond, she raised four wonderful sons: Raymond A. (Melissa) Dyer, Donald A. (Eileen) Dyer, Ronald A. (Kimberly) Dyer, and Danny A. (Annette) Dyer. Rose Marie embraced motherhood with unwavering devotion, finding her greatest joy in nurturing, guiding, and celebrating her children as they grew into manhood. Her legacy continues to live on through her six grandchildren: Raymond (Shirley) Dyer, David (Donna) Dyer, Heather Dyer, Catilyn Dyer, Nicole Dyer, and Kari Dyer, and her six great-grandchildren, who brought immense joy to her later years.
Rose Marie's family was her greatest joy and source of pride. She loved caring for them and spending time together, creating countless cherished memories around family gatherings and holidays. In addition to her family, Rose Marie had a special place in her heart for her beloved Velvet, who was a constant companion.
Renowned for her extraordinary skills as a cake decorator, she transformed ordinary celebrations into unforgettable events. Her edible masterpieces were more than just desserts—they were expressions of love and creativity. Each creation became a cherished memory, a symbol of her desire to make life's special moments even sweeter.
Rose Marie Dyer will be remembered for her unwavering love and dedication to her family, her talent, and her ability to bring joy to those around her. She leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and cherished memories that will forever be etched in the hearts of her loved ones.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 2, 2025 4:00 p.m. until the 7:00 PM Funeral Service at Solosy Funeral Home.
