Rose Marie Vega

Rose Marie Vega age 84 of Lincoln Park, was born June 13, 1941, and passed on October 4, 2025. Cherished wife of Rudy for over 61 years. Beloved mother of Joseph (Rosalyn) and Kristin (Stuart) Debrowsky. Proud grandma of Donovan, Shane, Adrianna and Michael (Kristin). Loving sister of Anne Martinez, Carmen Cosby, Delores Barragan and Tony Barragan. Also survived by many other loving family and friends.

Rose is preceded in death by her parents Isabel Barragan and Antonia Torres Barragan and siblings Manuel Barragan, Beatrice Mendez, Cathy Antkowiak, Lucy Gonzales-Anzaldua, Josephine Barragan Acevedo and Isabelle Wells.

Rose was a very giving and warm-hearted person, always willing to help or assist if she could. She was a proud and active member of her church, loving wife, mother and homemaker. Nothing compared to being a grandma. Her favorite hobby was being with her grandchildren. She loved to pamper them and surround them with her love. Her Heart of "GOLD", is loved and will be greatly missed…WE LOVE YOU ROSE.

How do you say goodbye to the one lady who always believed in you, always loved you above everything, always held you up so high in a world that wanted to hold you down. She was my Queen and the love of a Mom & son  is a very special relationship. I will always love you and I am already missing you. I was extremely blessed to be able to call you my precious Mother. You are GOLD to me. Though I am still raw in my emotions, my family will get through this because of Christ in us. ~ from your loving son

Visitation will be held, Thursday, October 9, 2025  2:00 - 6:00 p.m. at Solosy Funeral Home.
